あなたは瓦礫の上にいる。もしくは、あなたが瓦礫である。遥か昔から、解体はすでに始まっていた。(…) 触れ合う面と重なり合う言葉。異質な物語が瓦礫の欠片から掬い上げられる。「ならいったい、どこへ？」地上には繋ぎ合わされた物語の居場所がある。糸を紡いでいったあとが、点で残っている。点は終結の句読点でもあり、次の一文の始まりでもある。

In what languages can we speak in this fragmented world? Scattered pieces left behind in the remnants call for new words within the gaps between them. Patchwork! is a response to that call as well as a thread that stitches fragmented sensibilities. The four artists, weaving nonlinear narratives from fragmentary images and sentences, experiment with a way of writing "narratives with holes," moving between proximity and dispersion in long, flowing breaths.

당신은 잔해 위에 서 있다. 혹은 잔해가 당신이다. 해체는 이미 오래전에 시작되었다. (…) 인접한 틈이 언어가 될 수 있다면. 맞닿는 면에서 겹쳐지는 말. 기워져 엮인 채로, 낯선 이야기가 잔해의 파편으로부터 길어올려진다. ”그렇다면 어디로?*“ 대지 위에는 꿰어진 이야기의 자리가 있다. 꿰낸 실이 지나간 자리는 점이다. 점은 종결의 구두점이자 다음 문장의 시작이다.

파편화된 세계에서 우리는 어떤 언어로 말할 수 있을까요? 잔해 속 남겨진 조각들은 그 사이의 틈에서 새로운 말 걸기를 요청합니다. 《패치워크!》는 그 요청에 대한 응답이자, 파편화된 감각을 꿰맬 실마리입니다. 이미지 조각과 파편적 문장으로 이야기를 직조하는 네 명의 작가는, 긴 호흡 속에서 인접하고 흩어지길 반복하며 구멍 난 서사 쓰기의 지형을 실험합니다.
